Ingredients
- 100ml Water
- 200g Sugar
- 8g Vanilla Sugar
- 1tsp Cinnamon
- 200g Almonds
- Heat the water, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon in a pan until the water starts boiling and the sugar dissolves
- Add the Almonds and cook over a middle heat until the water evaporates
- The sugar will now crystallise and the almonds will be coated with a hard layer of sugar
- Continue to heat the almonds while stirring until the top layer of sugar melts and caramelises
- Place the almonds on baking paper, separate with a spoon and leave to set
